시편 8장을 보면, 하나님께서 사람/인자에게 모든 것의 권한/권세를 주셨다고했는데, 사람은 그 권세를 온전히 갖지 못함을 볼 수 있다.

때문에 이 인자는 예수님을 말한다. 그가 천사들보다 조금 낮은 자리로 오셨고, 고난을 겪고 죽으심으로 영광과 존귀의 왕관을 받으셨다. 이로써 예수님께서 사람에게도 같은 영광을 주셨다. 결국 시편 8편은 예수님에 대한, 예수님으로 인해 가능한 이야기. 그가 하나님을 아버지라고 부르고, 우리를 형제자매로 부르셨기에 우리도 하나님을 아버지라고 부를 수 있게 되었다.

사단은 사망에 대한 권세를 가졌고, 사람은 사망에 대한 두려움으로 노예생활을 했다. 예수님께서 죽기 위해 사람(육과 혈)으로 오셨고, 이것이 사망의 권세를 깨뜨리는 유일한 방법이다. 사람을 도우러 오셨기에, 사람과 똑같은 모습과 특성을 가지고 오셨다. 그렇기 때문에 우리의 약함과 고난을 이해하시는 대제사장이시며, 우리의 죄를 씻기 위해 그 자신을 제물로 드리는 대제사장이 되셨다.

 

 

 

죽음을 해결하기 위해

죽을 수 밖에 없는 존재로 오셨다

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hebrews chapter 2 (English NLT)----------------------------------------------------------------------

What are mere mortals that youshould think about them, or a son of man that youshould care for him?

Yet you made them only a little lower than the angels and crowned them with glory and honor.

You gave them authority over all things.

Psalm 8:4~6

 

Now when it says "all things," it means nothing is left out. But we have not yet seen all things put under their authority.

What we do see is Jesus, who was given a position "a little lower than the angels"; and because he suffered death for us, he is now "crowned with glory and honor."

Yes, by God's grace, Jesus tasted death for everyone. God, for whom and through whom everything was made, chose to bring many children into glory. And it was only right that he should make Jesus, through his suffering, a perfect leader, fit to bring them into their salvation.

So now Jesus and the ones he makes holy have the same Father. That is why Jesus is not ashamed to call them his brothers and sisters.

Hebrews 2:6~11

 

It is said that the authority of all things was given to humanbeings, but not all things are put under feet of them.

It's Jesus. He was put "a little lower than the angels" and by suffering and dying, now he is "crowned with glory and honor." Jesus gave the same glory to humanbeings. Since he called God his Father, and us his brothers and sisters, now we have the same Father. Everything is possible only through Jesus.

 

 

 

 

 

Because God's childeren are humanbeings - made of flesh and blood - the Son also became flesh and blood. For only as a humanbeing could he die, and only by dying could he break the power of the devil, who had/has the power of death. Only in this way could he set free all who have lived their lives as slaves to the fear of dying.

We also know that the Son did not come to help angels; he came to help the descendants of Abraham. Therefore, it was necessary for him to be made in every respect like us, his brothers and sisters, so that he could be our merciful and faithful High Priest before God. Then he could offer a sacrifice that would take away the sins of the people. Since he himself has gone through suffering and testing, he is able to help us when we are being tested.

Hebrews 2:14~18

 

The devil has had the power of death and humanbeings have been slaves to the fear of dying. Therefore Jesus became flesh and blood in order to die. It was the only way to break the power of death.

Jesus came to help humanbeings, therefore he became just like us, his brothers and sisters. That makes him merciful and faithful High Priest who offered himself as a sacrifice to take away sins of us. Because he was tested and suffered, he understands our weaknesses and sufferings.
